A Heartfelt Evening: The Romanian Community Celebrates Women’s Day

On March 8, 2026, the Romanian House Association of the Balearic Islands experienced one of the most beautiful evenings in its history. The Women’s Day gala dinner, held at the elegant Cases de Son Martí restaurant in Palma de Mallorca, brought together dozens of members of the Romanian community in an atmosphere of elegance, emotion, and genuine joy. The warm lights of the dining room, the carefully arranged tables, and the smiles on the faces of the attendees created a truly special setting.

The highlight of the evening was the recital by soprano Olga Shine, who interpreted with passion and mastery Romanian melodies that moved the hearts of all those present. Honorary Consul of Romania, Alexandru George Lazar, presented flowers to all the women present — an elegant gesture that added charm and warmth to the evening. Our community demonstrated, once again, that solidarity and the joy of being together are the values that define us as an association.

ACRIB thanks all attendees for their presence, involvement, and the wonderful energy they brought to this special evening. The success of the March 8th event is a powerful motivation to continue organizing moments that unite and inspire the Romanian community of the Balearic Islands. Stay tuned for announcements about future events!
