Romania’s National Day, Celebrated with Heart in Palma

On December 3, 2025, the Romanian community of the Balearic Islands gathered to celebrate Romania’s National Day in a warm and emotional atmosphere. The event organized by ACRIB included the screening of a Romanian film chosen specifically for its message of national identity and unity. The room echoed with the applause of those present, united by their love for Romania and the desire to keep their cultural roots alive, regardless of geographic distance.

The highlight of the evening was the performance of the national anthem by soprano Olga Shein, which brought tears to many of the attendees. The event was supported by the ICR Madrid and the Palma City Hall, partners who recognize the role of the Romanian community as ambassadors of Romanian culture and values in Spain.
